Sponsors of Brookfield’s first “Ultimate Holiday Showcase” presented cash awards to the five best holiday decorated store fronts at a gathering at Town Hall on February 3. In a show of community support during the pandemic, several of the winners donated their winnings. Robert O’Conner, O’Connor’s Pub owner, is giving his 1st place prize of $500 to his employees. Libero and Simona Pugliese, John’s Best Pizza owners, gave their 2nd place prize of $400 to their church, St. Marguerite’s. And Rick Tedesco, Guitar Hanger owner, is giving his 3rd place award of $300 to the Huckleberry and Whisconier School’s music departments.
