Nelson started his own company 10 years ago and received the 2013 Home-Based Business Champion for the State of Connecticut.
A Home-Based Business Champion is an individual who has experienced the rewards and difficulties of owning a home-based business and has volunteered to improve the climate for these businesses.
Nelson was born in Colombia and has an MBA from Georgia State University. He was an advisor with SCORE and chairman of the Western Connecticut Chapter.
